Due to the fact that this homeowner had recently installed new granite
countertops, â new sink, a new faucet, and new flooring, but they hated the
existing grainy, dark, oak cabinetry, and were on a limited budget; posed a
Removal of the upper cabinetry, dated soffits, and backsplash was a must.
Custom, white painted maple 1-4″ deep upper cabinets were installed, extending
to the ceiling and terminated with block crown molding.
By removing the doors and drawers of the existing base cabinetry and installing
To” painl grade maple skins over the cabinet boxes, we were able to reface the
cabinets matching the new uppers.
New soft-close doors and full-extension soft-close drawers were installed and the
cabinet refacing saved the homeowner quite a bit of money, allowing the project
to fit the budget.
A new bank of “hutch style” cabinetry was constructed and installed adjacent to
the existing peninsula.
Dimmable xenon under-cabinet lighting was installed showcasing the new
travertine subway tile and the existing countertops.
